I didn’t go looking for my second @cartier piece. It found me — the way the right things usually do.
The Juste un Clou has been on my wrist every day since I got it. It’s one of the most versatile wrist wear and might I add unassuming and understated… which is why I probably liked it in the first place.
Aldo Cipullo designed this in 1971. He took a nail. Put it in gold. Called it just a nail — Juste un Clou — and meant every word of it. Most people hand this bracelet to women. They’ve been getting that wrong for fifty years.
This is that piece.
