Fun fact: Dal Moradabadi was once a Mughal-era street snack served in kulhads to travelers at the Moradabad railway station — simple moong dal, but was completely tweaked to treat royalty the right way. It had a delicious meaty ghee tadka and .. the best part…chaat-style toppings. 🛤️✨

Cut to today, and the dish just got a glam upgrade.

It brings this quintessential street food dish to a regal dining experience. With a table-side presentation in a hot stone bowl, (thus allowing you to customise it) but also visually so appealing (I couldnt wait to dig in)

This is Indian cuisine getting the slow, rich, and rightful spotlight it deserves. *woot* 🔥🇮🇳
